WABI SABI STORY – FALL/WINTER 2012

Massada this time enjoys cooperation with one of the most talented
young Japanese photographer who lives in Europe ; Yosuke Demukai
from Berlin. These stunning images were influenced by “Wabi-Sabi”
aesthetic. As we understand with the European high fashion emotional
touch. “Wabi-Sabi” simply is the Japanese art of finding beauty within
imperfectness, ephemerality, and incompleteness of surrounding us
world. Undeclared beauty that waits patiently to be discovered. It’s
simple, slow, and uncluttered-and it reveres authenticity above all.
Colors are of earth and wood, monochromatic, soft and warm in
their emotions. Models are fragile in their beauty and their
youngish looks like blossoming flowers during Sakura season.
It creates powerful contrast with eternity of time passing by
within wood, sand, grass, forests and fabric. People live their
full and rich lives in every sense experiencing unique beauty
in Massada Eyewear.
